| This painting has a view of Church Street in Godalming,Surrey. This ancient street has several buildings dating from the 15th Century. It starts at the junction with High Street, Godalming Museum and the Pepperpot (all behind us in this view), towards the Church of St Peter and St Paul with its crooked spire. This is an evening scene with a sunset still apparent in the distance, but the rain has arrived! |
