Tilford is a Surrey village with two medieval stone arch bridges that cross the River Wey. The West Bridge was built by the monks of nearby Waverley Abbey in the 13th Century. It still carries foot traffic. The original bridge had suffered severe damage in the past and was completely rebuilt, preserving its medieval character, and reopened in 2005. A relief road bridge has been provided to protect the ancient west bridge from further damage.

A painting of the other ancient bridge, at the eastern end of the village green, can be viewed among the "Pictures for Sale" pages of this website. This eastern bridge is also medieval, with semi-circular stone arches, and if thought to have been built in Norman times.

Tilford is an attractive English village with a cricket green, ancient oak tree and popular pub - all in addition to its two river bridges.
