| This imposing lighthouse is located at Fanad Head at the entrance to Lough Swilly, a long fiord-like inlet in the north of County Donegal in Ireland. It guards a gateway out into the North Atlantic. The wild coastal scenery here is becoming a popular tourist destination in the North of Ireland. |
