| The Palais d'Isle in Annecy, dominated by its Stair Tower and situated on an island, was for centuries both courthouse and the Old Prison. The River Thiou is one of the shortest rivers in France: after less than 5 km, it flows into the Fier, which then joins the Rhone. This is the view during the day. |
